Active basses weren't popular in the 70s were they? This amp has a Normal input and a High input. At first I just assumed the High input was a padded input for active basses, but then I tried it and I think it is actually a high gain input.

First active bass was the music man born in 1976 so I doubt it. Amps have always had a high and low though, maybe nick can explain way.

Now that the official statement is out, crazy day yesterday. Guy got crushed and died under a semi trailer yesterday here at work. Horrible way to go.

Holy crap dude, that sucks. Been at a few jobsites where somebody died, everything and everybody gets weird for a while. Safety meetings are a whole lot less fun.

If 18s wont work, what about a "quaddy" 415. But somehow i feel that just not doubling the size of the dually and throwing more speakers in.

My Dually is all cut and assembled. Waiting on some parts and finishing to go through, so it shouldnt be too long. Maybe if there is a well attended GTG in CHI I will bring the Dually and the '66 down.

As Laz will tell you, a single Dually is already really loud, like 125-128 db loud. A second would be around a 6 db boost (a LOT as this is a logrhythmic scale), if you had the power to throw at it. If you are tossing 50-100 watts at the cab, then yeah you might need two of them to broach that 130db mark, but at some point one has to ask, can you still hear the un-mic'd drummer? :D

Man that sucks. Not an accident, but the place I worked in PA while finishing up my degree before the move to VA, one of the guys from the warehouse would come down the company deisel garage and ahve coffee with me and bs before we started are days. And like a little while after he left he was unloading a trialer and had a massive heart attack plus his daughter worked in sales and she got called over jsut in time to see him die, just crazy, good guy too, and only upper forties and not overweight either just had a stressful life.

Man dying at work is like dying at Walmart or something. I want to go behind or under my ol lady, or falling off a cliff while hiking, drowning out kayaking, heck even electricuted from my gear, riding the motorcycle, doing something I love, not work, just not at work

I want to get killed by a polar bear. It would be really cool to see one up close and I'd be feeding an endangered animal! :D

I was going to say die from one of my animals or something I am trying to chekc out in the outdoors. I always wanted to be chased by Bigfoot, just scared out of my mind, running, then when he finally stops toying with me it would be awesome if he would bLtch slap me and turn around and walk away.
