I have actually really been digging my Genz Benz LS410 now that I turned off the tweeter and cut the treble way way back on the Traynor. So yeah I probably would enjoy even a Bassic 12. I guess in my mind I thought you have to have a 15for old school tones, but learning not neccessarily so.
No out of the movie loop, need to see that one. Yeah I guess she is no spring chicken anymore.
Argh, why do girls but tattoos on their legs, sleeves are cute on gals and certain spots for gals, but don't ruin your legs girls. Pet peeve of mine.
Yeah, no need for a specific speaker size to gain a specific tone.
The Bassic12 is a nice "quick run around cab" for practice for "low" volume stuff.
That is really all I need, all I do is play at home, or play bass with buddies on acoustics, in reality all I actually need is a combo, but I love tube tone so I got the Traynor and had the 410 I got in a killer trade deal.
This Bassic12 is pretty sweet with my PF-500. Cab weighs 22 pounds, and thats in wood.
its just his first step in doing vocals for his group. itll happen, dont worry. hes just fighting it right now. wont last long lol.
Wow 22 pounds!!! The cool thing is my Traynor YBA-200-2 is only 35 pounds, for all tube, can't beat that. But that would be the ticket a Bassic 12 and pick up a small but high watt ss head for guick grab and goes.
The one Mark sent me has a tweeter, but that little mother adds a bit of weight. Would shave off a pound or two if you didnt want one.
I hate tweeters anyway. Man I bet people have pedals boards that weigh more, lol

Meh. If you double the dimensions of a Dually, you're left with a cab that is two feet taller than an SVT810 and 2 inches skinnier. I think that could be pretty awesome looking haha. Wouldn't fit in my car though
My Fender Champion 600 guitar amp has that, It is definitely higher gain on the Champ.
Yeah, good lesson teaching me I shouldn't just assume things. The high gain channel sounds awesome haha. Figured it had a -15 dB pad on it and only plugged into it on accident.
I hate sh!tty tweeters on commercial cabs, but every greenboy cab with a tweeter that I have played has been fantastic. Difference is, the tweets and cross overs are not just some off the shelf crap. The tweets are chosen, and the cross overs designed to work with the woofers. Now some people might not want/need the content up there, and going with out a tweeter would make sense for them. I agree with that choice out of preference, but not because the tweeters are sh!t.
Yeah every time I look at the Greenboy sites, it reminds of high end audio equipement, even the look of them somewhat. You can tell the attention to detail in design and not of the mill crap.
