Why not call it stir the pot day or not cool to be white day. Wish the world would stop pushing so hard and let people get along on their own terms so the race issue would fade away.
I shouldn't say that this is no place for politics, sorry

Apparently it's actually a black guy talking about how much he hates Mexicans. What my wife told me is some hispanic guy started to get up to leave and the guy turned around and shouted "Sit down, it's not aimed at YOU!".

Again...just yikes. How about just have an opinion, but stfu and keep it to yourself? Some people have no sense of class or tact at all.

My girlfriends's sister is married to a black guy and he hates Mexicans big time, so I am sitting here dying thinging of him being in that class.

I would be laughing at all of them.

My buddy and I were talking at lunch. Anytime somebody calls us white, we are going to correct them and say "Excuse me? It's caucasian."

Stupidity transcends all racial boundaries and most people are idiots, so I don't sweat it. It would be nice if people would leave their bullsh*t hangups and learn to deal with people on an individual basis. Racism makes about as much sense to me as saying "I met a guy named Dave once and he was a dick, so if your name is Dave...I hate you". There are plenty of reasons to dislike people on their own merits, without dragging everyone who has a similar skin tone or was born in the same country into it.

Yep. There are better reasons to not like people. Every person gets a fair shot in my book (unless you've already proven yourself to be a douche).

Man, this sucks,. I haven't had my breakfast burrito since like 2 weeks ago. The main cook at the cafe at work left. He told me he was leaving. They wouldn't work with him on whatever it is that he needed (hours, pay, no clue why), they weren't willing to work with him. Now the cook they have sucks. She'll cook someone's bacon and then throw my cheese omlet right on top without cleaning the grill off. Picking up little random bacon pieces and other loose grill matter. Freaking gross.

Just tried a muffin since it doesn't look like the new cook is going anywhere...taste like they put the muffins next to an open container of boiled ham. GROSS. I'm sure it's just stale, or old, or whatever, but definitely not edible.

That's why when I was vegetarian and then vegan, I always used to make my own food and pack a lunch. Before we got married my wife (then girlfriend, obviously) and I went to Disneyland on Thanksgiving weekend and we pretty much packed a cooler and brought all our own food. It's a lot easier not having to worry about that, but now that I just watch what I eat for my weight's sake I still cook my own food and pack a lunch whenever possible. It takes a lot of the pressure off, when your options are limited.
