Mariana is going to be opening up for them in 2 weekends. Super stoked as Inter Arma's new album is getting TONS of rad reviews.
We sound considerably different than them, but oh well...SHould be fun!
I got 4 free 12" Hartke guitar drivers sitting in my attic in boxes, my old guitarist put Eminence's in his cab and said if I didnt take the old drivers they were getting dumpstered. Any suggestions with what to do with em? I'm thinking of doing a vertical 4x12, and even if its inefficient or sucks I can flip on Craigslist for weird-factor. Eh?

Hahaha, Thanks man. I'm really happy with how the roadburn stuff came out. Aside from a few technical issues I thought we pulled off stuff pretty well. I actually prefer the SWD live set to the album version by a lot.
Hopefully this new stuff we're writing will not disapoint anyone looking for more heaviness from us.
Dude, not trying to be a kiss ass at all here, but man, the Satan Worshipping Doom set was killer. If I want to listen to something that just straight up crushes, I always go for you guys.
I mean, there are other heavy bands, obviously. Just something about the arrangement of the songs and the shear bass blasting badassery. I know we are all trying to be heavy bands, but Bongripper just kills. If it was at the right volume, I bet that record could suffocate people. The bass hits and people's chests start caving in and that.

We're a little over half done writing the new record, but we've been working on stuff for when it comes time to record it. All I know is that I want people to turn on this record, and when my bass comes it people will think...what the **** is he using to sound like that, because now I need one.
It's how I felt the first time I heard Young Widows, and then lead to my obvious obession with Rat pedals for a few years now.

I assume you needed to install large washers with the 3PDT foot switch to fit the too-large opening from the original switch right?

My only dirty up to my sound has been my Fulltone OCD. I like it a lot and plan on keeping it, but as I continue to listen to my bass more closely, I see some sound void I need to fill.
My OCD dirties is up well, but I'm looking to add a fuzz or overdrive to the mix. I know there are tons of options, but wondering if it's best to start with a fuzz, OD, or distortion as my "foundation" ?

I agree. I found Bongripper through Last.FM, you guys would come up alot when I played the Weedeater-based station. I think it was the 3rd time I heard Reefer Sutherland that I said to myself "man, I'm actually glad they don't have vocals, it'd make it less heavy"
When I try to think of something as heavy (Rwake, Cough, Ufomammut), nothing compares. And, they are that heavy without vocals.
Ron, you guys never disappoint. Any idea when it might be out? (incase I missed you mention it already)
