Stoner/Doom Bassist Thread Part 13: The Lost Thread

Top Notch girlfriend!
I used to have my head on this shelf at our old practice space, with the cabinet underneath.Getting tube heads up that high can be challenging.

My lady is pretty awesome,I really lucked out with her.:hyper:

After schlepping that head on top of my stack I`m soooo glad that any random jam sessions with my friends now seem to end up at my house. All I have to do is wheel it away from the wall and aim it back towards my living room(where my friends set up their stuff).

I only had 20 minutes to play with it but I made the most out of it with my Rivoli and Grey Stache. Fuzzed out glory!!!

Also, picked up an Altec Lansing 418 15" today for $40. I couldnt wait for my toast special anymore...it shipped out today. so I guess Ill have a back up 15" or Ill make myself a cab.

I checked out that thread a few weeks back. Holy sh!t,there are a whole lot of close minded, snooty,"it`s noise!! and I don`t like it there for it`s crap" type people populating the vast majority of this site. Kind of sad.

Sorry for the triple post. I really should read the thread till the end before I post.

I do the same thing.

But yeah, it's amazing how people so often forget that the music they like probably pissed off the older generation when they were young, too.

Mo' dirt mo' betta. Once My board's finished I'll have 4 flavors:

Dunwich FACBoost for clean boost, vowel like sounds at extreme settings
Dunwich VT for awesome Rat tones and to feed into other pedals
Davis White Box for grindy awesomeness, works great for fast parts where I need that low end retention
Bluebeard for total sonic annihilation
