got my early b-day gift from my girlfriend today! She bought me a slant cab fender 410pro to match my other 410pro and 300pro head(which she chipped in for last year as my b-day gift). So now I finally have a snazzy matching 810 stack. I`m super stoked!

I`m also somewhat ashamed at my lack of muscles. Getting that tube head on top of that stack was almost a 3 Stooges-esque disaster.
It looks badass now tho.

This Altec Lansing 418 sounds awesome with guitar, with bass it can get a bit farty at high volume, fine its fine for home practice. I think the farty-ness might have something to do with the cab being a)tiny and/or b)sealed. Ill try out the Toast special once that gets here.

Getting lots of cool tones from this head, I love it. Always having a clean signal is way cool, delay with double reverb, no reverb fuzz and full reverb clean sounds really good. That Dunwich DOOMswitch whenever I get it will mean four channels of endless GAS possibilities...

having a good laugh at the livesound subreddit. everyone championing having a tiny amp running into the PA for guitar, DIing the bass, using IEMs and having no onstage volume. one guy even tried to convince me that doom guitarists use stacks of fake guitar cabs.

go second hand shopping (thrifting i believe you northern hemisphere people call it?) and look for old Flight brand hardshell suitcases. a number of them fit pedaltrains perfectly, plus with some room for cables etc.

This! I had a suitcase for 8 years and still held up. Held up Longer then that stagg prolly would. And I bought it for .57 cents at Salvation Army.
