Stoner/Doom Bassist Thread Part 13: The Lost Thread

Yeah, I had it in my ankle recently, still there somewhat. but nothing like it was. Man I thought I sprained my ankle but it hurt so bad I kept thinking how could I sprian it this bad and not remember twisting it, so after about two weeks I went tot he doc and he said gout but let's do blood tests and yep it's gout. Man that stuff you hear that it hurt to just have a blanket touch me is so true. I am about a month shy of 41 and was limping around my office like an old man. And I had a triple last month, I have almost daily migraines, sometimes just the aura and not the sting probably the stinging int he eye 3 or so times a week, well I had got a head cold, the gout, and migraines. I thought I was going to lose my mind. So take care of yourself young bucks. I have a lot of bad eating habits to break, no fun at all.

Sorry to hear that man. I just have it in the joint of my big toe. I can't imagine having it in my ankle. Changing your eating habits is hard but probably worth it to not have this pain. The thing that sucks is it goes away and then you forget about it. Awhile later it comes back and you are like crap I wish I had eaten better these last few months.

Yeah, man I am like afraid to eat everything now, that shvt hurts so damn bad. Coudln't stand keeping my shoes on at work, like the gals do at work, when it was really inflamed. Skipping aorund the office in my gold toes lol. I think I needed the gout kicking my ass to wake up, I guess the almost dialy migrianes weren't enough for me lol

Today's spin: the Trey Anastasio Band live at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA.

That's a really good show and an even cooler venue. It's an old church in downtown ATL. 3 levels, and on the top there are still pew's. The second floor / Balcony also wraps completely around so you can sit over the side of the stage and see the whole set up from above. It also still has MASSIVE pipes from the old organ extending up the back wall behind the stage.

Unfortunately, the sound is not usually the best.
