I miss this set up. I was without a band at the time. I tried to start a stoner/doom/sludge something. It just wasn't happening. Then my previous band got back together and I got the 810. Then we broke up again.
4x15s with the VB2 and the Boss FZ2 boost on top of the overdrive was awesome. I had a Green Muff at the time too.
Squier Jag with a mighty might maple jazz neck. Rotosound flats. D standard, Drop C.
Well at least I still have the amps.

Maximus do you still have the VB2? How do/did you like it?

Still have it. I liked it with the 15s better. My frankenstien P basses didn't do it any justice. Floppy strings tuned to low doesn't sounded way to muddy. But with the Ibby 506 sounds great.
It's a great amp for the price. My only tube experience. The overdrive isn't really that great cranked up.
I haven't turned it on in a long time. I need to get it up and running and try to dial in some tones. But with practice being late at night in a garage, in a house with sleeping children...

I think I'm figuring out I'm not really a P bass kind of guy. Maybe a PJ.
