Stoner/Doom Bassist Thread Part 8 - Insert witty title...

Yeah, I DVR'ed the metal evolution and just finished it. I SO thought they were going to go into the desert rock thing when they brought up grunge and Melvins. Or mention Earth when they brought up Kurt Cobain. Oh well. If they do a season 2, they need to give credit to doom and the like. I think HoF is currently one of the best metal bands. Anywho, anyone going to catch CoC/Torche tour?

Well after a lot of deliberation I think I've decided I just didn't like the way Mike's composite cabs looked. I think I'm going to go with Rob at Art of Noise (Link Removed). The look much more like traditional cabs with the recessed front baffle but will still come in around 35-40 lbs. Going to decide on a color and then I'll likely send him down payment tomorrow. Same deal with the coloring, pick any paint and it is mixed in with the duratex. I am still leaning towards Lucky Green, similar to the Green Amps green. I think that would look pretty boss with a black metal grill.
