Im using a .118 now. It has to be better then that. It will get me buy for the price untill i decide whether i was to order circle k's or not. It was the biggest string at the store.
.135 A on a 34" scale isn't terrible for me, but heavier is always better as beebass puts it.
Maybe I just need a thicker E string. .100 E from the Chromes works fine on my Ric tuned to C. Have the .105 on the EGC and its kind of muddy and lacks definition. Really like how the other 3 strings sound though. Maybe I should just try to find a bigger flat wound E?
I love the drop sets from circle K since I always play chords on the higher strings. And I like it a bit slinky.
