DAMMIT CANT EVEN ENJOY BLACK SABBATH, thats what I need for my birthday...a vinyl new player. I'm done trying to setup my dads old one, it just wont work. What does everyone use here? Looking somewhere in the $150-200 range.
I`ve got the Audio Technica at-lp120. I really like mine.
Sorry for slow response, I avoided my computer this weekend.

How long does it have to last to be a keeper? :) it's still on there and I'm not looking for any kind of germanium-fuzz replacement. I have not had it that long, but it makes a fantastic, highly controllable fuzz.

Pros and Cons -
~ Not sure how to put this in words, but at the core it's just a germanium FUZZ pedal, so that has to be what you want. It does one thing well, and that's make the fuzz. You can fiddle with the knobs for days, and you're still gonna get fuzz.

- Single tone control (limitation? standard?) - but on the other hand the dip switch for the mids boost is nice.

+ Clean blend gives you great control (and confidence) over the fuzz, great to have when playing different types of rooms. You can blend an incoherent over-the-top fuzz with enough clean punch to be heard. Once you go clean-blend, you don't want to go back.

+ Solid build quality, stellar company reputation[1], good resale value.

Very little to lose buying this pedal, it makes a great benchmark to test other fuzzes against.

Hope this helps

Thanks!!
Not a definitive recommendation, but a good research/comparison starting point if you can scrape just north of the 200 side.

I`d snag it!
Tonight Cancer Bats are here with Kvelertak and Black Tusk, and then in two days it's Dillinger Escape Plan, The Facless and Royal Thunder. Trying to decide what I'm going to go to :P

Dillinger Escape Plan plays my town tomorrow. Not sure if I`m going to go. I saw them 3 or 4 times back in in the 2001-2004 era and was super into them. But I haven`t checked out any of their stuff after Miss Machine.

Ampegfuzz-damn dude! That 1st jam was heavy as hell! Me rikey!

We're in the same exact boat for DEP. I remember seeing them at Warped Tour 2004 and just thinking jesus this is 100 times better than anything else here haha.

I am so out of the loop technology wise, what do you guys use to record with, one of those little hand held audio video recorders? I keep thinking it would be cool to have something to take to shows to catch at least the audio but video would be cool too, to record stuff and make some cheesy youtube pedal reviews, lol

I have a Zoom H4N. (Handheld)
