Stoner/Doom Bassists #64 - sensitive artsy emo chicks

Man Stats, Env Economics, Surface Hydrology classes just brain raped me, slid by on both with a C's and a D+, that Fuzzy Math kicks my butt. I was a Geology Major and Aced my classes then Inorganic Chemistry violated me till I walked down the counselors office and she said stop torturing yourself and switch to Geography it is easier to find a job in it anyway and all your previous classes will still count for the degree. She was right.

and that's why I have an English degree. It's absolutely useless, but I didn't have to waste any of my partying time on math and science in school.

whoops,typo
Music school has taught me that playing boring music for the money is still better than making coffee's.
I did actually get asked to try out for a fairly established stoner rock band recently. But when they said 'you'll need to fund yourself for a south american tour in november',I was out.
Not only is there no way I could afford that, but if you're booking south american tours without a bass player and having recently lost a guitarist, that sounds like a nightmare I do not want to be a part of.

Did the WW2 tour today, went to Ohama and Utah beaches, as well as the American Cemetery at Colleville. The cemetery had the heaviest air/feeling/vibe Ive ever felt, Gettysburg falls just short of it. What those men went through is unfathomable. If you ever go to Europe you have to take the time and go there, PERIOD.

South american tour you say? do tell! Which band is it?

Just ordered this guitar from GC used. I got a thing for the old Cardinal line of Basses, even if they are only 32 inchers, but never paid attention to the guitars in that line and have been wanting a humbucker guitar again. So with the coil taps and the phase swtich, the body contours, double- cutaway, and Matsumoku factory made kind of pulled me in. Plus it was only $199 and and you can't beat they ship used guitars for only like $23 bucks. Can't wait to get my paws on it.

Dixie Dave's setup is so gnarly. Shame the blood and rust on the strings doesn't show.
