Outside forces, Mother Nature, God, keep stopping VEGA from recording...hopefully that changes when i get back to the states and we are in the new practice spot.

I feel your pain. It's been almost a year since I lost my job. Been working part-time and unsteady ever since. And then we moved, so it all starts again...

Scott and Joe, hope both of you have better look in the job search.

Max, can't wait to hear a proper recording of Vega man. All the practice demos people post on this thread are pretty good, so I'm looking forward to the eventual big boy recordings.

Hey y'all !

I bought a Catalinbread Echorec to add to my board and I really like it ! There's just one thing that bugs me : I can't keep my signal totally clean, even with the preamp gain in the Echorec at its minimum.

Did anyone of you ever try it with an 18V power supply (I know Ron had it for a while) ? I'm wondering if it would solve the "problem".

On the other hand, I also tried putting the gain on the max position, it scared me a little but I understand now why they call it the Super Secret Fuzz Boost Mode xD

Dudes, I'm doing great. I'm in my senior year finishing a BA in Psychology, work part-time for good money, and I just made it past the first round for a Department of the Navy gig as a counselor.

All that bullshvt from last year is actually paying off!

I just have no time to practice, gig or spend days and days on the S/D thread

I'm glad you're doing well man, I'd be even more glad if you were rocking out and sharing some tunes with all of us though.

I have time for a full time job, a fulfilling marriage, 3 or 4 bands, DIY wood working and crafts projects and overlapping home remodeling projects.

The secret? BE F*CKING CRAZY. Who even knows what normal people do?
