I just got an email from Carvin, my new guitar is finally shipping out. I'm psyched to get my home office back together and start writing some tunes with it.

Yeah, I very much disapprove of Peavey-bashing.

Not that Peaveys can't withstand it, the hardy beasts, but it's the principle of the matter.


His complaints about Peavey don't even make sense. He may have played one or two, but Peavey have put out a LOT of different bass amps in their time, many of which sound very different from each other.

His total lack of punctuation, grammar, knowledge and logic leads me to believe he is about 14 and dreaming about what he would use if he was playing arenas, not a rockstar.

If one was a huge arena playing rockstar that wanted a tube sound, why would you not get a tube amp?

Someone should suggest he gets a Peavey Classic 400 for a good tube sound :D

It was the first response to his first thread, at which he scoffed. It has been down hill from there.

I tried to go see Public Animal when we played at NXNE but couldn't convince bandmates to walk in the pouring rain. Everything Blurton does is pretty awesome.

Yea I usually don't chime in on the doom threads. Mostly absorb the info and get a few laughs here and there. Other threads though.... I just don't like winers and the whole if I'm having a bad day thing. Then the trolls. Cl400peavey gave that dude some good suggestions, I thought anyway, and it was like dude ignored it all. I thought it was a troll thread from the get go. Or a young newbie starting crap.

Man I was going to make that comment but was letting sleeping dogs lay, lol. Google news had the worst college degrees to take per pay you end up making and fine arts was on there, lol, so a bottle of Yoohoo and a pack of Skittles should be ample payment, lol
