I prefer the fish with the little feet on them.

Something to grab onto.

I think those stickers people put up of families are funny, like mom dad, son daughter and dog on the rear window.

The best ones are weathered so like half of dad is missing and the daughter has no face and you wonder just what the hell happened to that family.

I always wanted to swap all the smiles to frowns and have and X through like the only kid on my car :p

You Americans are terrifying. PLEASE DON'T SHOOT!! :hiding:

Someone was shot in the parking lot behind my apartments and I didn't even know.

The new fence they put up wasn't cause it was old it was full of bullet holes. A neighbor told me he heard it like a month ago and ran outside with his own gun. Both the shooter and victim ran so just blood trails all over and within 5 minutes a sea of blue and then black fed cars.

Most alarming thing was the fact my neighbor had a gun. He looks like David krumholtz lol and had a handgun in his tighty whiteys.

see in Canada the neighbour would just call the cops instead of run outside with a gun.

Had a guy arrested in my backyard once, this was in the "bad" part of town where I used to live. I was sitting upstairs in the back bedroom reading a book with the window open when I hear 2 or 3 shotguns pumped and half a dozen handgun slides racked immediately followed by "GET ON THE GROUND, PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!!"

I hit the floor, not wanting to catch a stray bullet, listened for a while until I thought it was safe then peered out the window, 8-10 cops were dragging a guy out of the bushes behind the house.

But really, that was the only incident in 4 years of living in "the bad neighborhood" of Madison, which is a joke compared to parts of Milwaukee or Chicago... and those cities' bad neighborhoods are a joke compared to the bad neighborhoods in Albuquerque - stay out of the Warzone and the South Valley.

HAd this happen to me once...Was living on a military base in semi-upscale officer's housing. Remembered I left my pellet gun, a .357 replica btw, at a friends house and wanted it for the camping trip I was prepping for. Ran over to the friends house, then ran through base housing with this .357 rep in my hand right towards the higher ups houses.

Dropped off my stuff inside my house and when I came out front to put my sleeping bag in my car I was greeted by a 3 MP cars flying towards my house and about 6-7 other MP's running at me, guns drawn.

Cuffed and brought to the ground pretty quickly. Mother fcking dude had a pistol to my head for 10mins. Scared the **** out of me.

Luckily, all resolved. :)

I don't think he was wise for doing it either. Most people I know with guns have a very heroic/idealistic view of how they'll come into play. No doubt it'd probably land them in jail or on tv and in trial for a long time if things played out like they anticipate. I assume it's just puff talk, because otherwise unless your just really confident why tell relative strangers you even have a gun.

My Dad was ex-Army and bi-polar but functional, well after my folks split he lived about two hours from where I lived and he wanted me to spend a week and my Mom really didn't want to but up till then his crazy was really just depression and harmless. Well I got to be in the front seat row when he truly lost it, we drove around all day and he was rambling nonsense but I finally I fell asleep from exhaustion. Well I woke up on a Army Base in PA to the sounds of sirens and flashing lights with PA state troopers and Army MPs saying put the weapons down sir. I crawled to the floor area of the old Ford Pickup he had as I thought I would get shot too. Finally a flashlight of one of the cops said holy **** there is a kid in truck and more or less don't hit the truck. Dad dropped the weapons and they got me out of there pronto and questioned me and took good care of me till my Mom got there. The weirdest part was when I was in the National Guard and being on the base as a soldier and thinking man ten years ago I was here when the old man flipped his lid.

Damn was he ok after that?

My family friends are German at the guy was like 10 in 1945 and an American GI stormed his house and put a Thompson to his head and yelled at the family. He has no idea what that was about and nothing happened, but he said it was really scary until later he realized he was basically the enemy of the world which was a real blow to someone born into that terrible system.

My Dad was hospitalized and released after medication brought him back around. His family raised him to pretend he didn't have mental problems, thus shoving him in the Army at 17, he only went to school to the seventh grade. So he would go through this extended times where he would seem normal especially when he was young, my mother had no idea about episodes before they were married and nothing that nuts till he did that. He wasn't violent, it was low self-esteem times a million billion, he wanted to be somebody, he thought his father was being flown in by helicopter to the base and he was there to pick him up. We were always close, but he had werid episodes where he would create a mission and soemone in the family would have to bring him home, would drive a car through several states and wedge it across lanes of traffic and get out and start directing traffic. Later in life he found a great doctor and got drugs that worked much better but depression got the best of him and two years back his took his own life, by gun of course, guns were his whole life, grew up hunting, in the Army, then after but I think the only person he ever hurt with one was himself, I think. Sorry for the crazy story, but the mention of hiding from gun fire reminded of hiding in the floorboards as kid thinking all hell was going to break loose.
