I don't goto people 's homes anymore. Neither do I bring them to mine. I like to meet in public places cause I'm paranoid.
That being said I can't convince my wife to do the same.
"Honey when you tell people to'come over anytime I'm a stay at home mom'your asking to get raped."
Her response "I'll just try and relax and enjoy it."
Gross.

Morning gents,

I'm super excited for our new record to be out...

The new recording makes SWD sound like a 90's cassette demo.

It's heavy.
Awesome. Even heavier than SWD? That's difficult to imagine.

He paid me the $200 for the cab in installments of $50 via money orders which he would mail to me every few months.

At one point he had paid for a shipping label, but then cancelled it because something came up...that was around 4 or 5 months ago.
You still have that cab, then?

yea I know a little

300W board going up, also next to a 18W board

Nice.

So what are they like? What kind of tone stack, or are there multiple varieties? I've heard conflicting things.

It's always funny when people try to haggle in person after you've already decided on the price before meeting up. When I was selling my Peavey IPR3000 I had a guy come in, try it out, said he really liked it and wanted to buy it, then pulled out his cash and he was $60 short. Told me all that he brought with him, so I told him that I guess he wasn't leaving with the amp then. He said he'd go check to see if he had any spare cash in his car, and came back with the exact amount we had previously agreed to haha.
I sadly let an in-person haggler get the better of me, once. But then, I was asking too much for the bass, knowing I was going to get haggled down. Still got $40 more than I paid for the thing. That was when I was selling my old, janky SG bass that I wasn't playing anymore.

The only other craigslist interactions I've had were when I sold my Ashdown 2x10, and when I bought my Ampeg 4x12. The former involved meeting a couple at a parking lot. Money changed hands, they drove off with it (the parking lot was selected only partly because of both of us being paranoid... it was really more because it was about halfway between where we lived). The ampeg cab I drove down to this dude's house, and he opened up his garage and it was there, not weird at all. I guess I've been lucky.

Yeah, I don't appreciate the last-minute haggle. Price was agreed on already, I'll just dig in if you try to haggle any more after that.

A couple of years ago some dippoopie tried to grab my wife's purse and run off. She beat the **** out of him. She got the purse and he ran off with a broken nose and some possible skull fractures. Wish I had been there to see it.
Nice. That must have been pretty epic, I would have wanted to see, too.

Going for screaming, shouting, growling or roaring?
An important question.

Also, while playing in Catapult has softened my old antipathy towards lead singers (at least, I like ours, since he books shows, helps move gear, owns his own PA, and is generally a good dude), you should really be sure that no one in your band can do vocals before taking on an extra member.

So, I made a new thread, but because I'm an idiot when I haven't had coffee, apparently, I put "Part 89" in the title instead of "Part 90".

I did send a report asking a mod to change it, though.

Sorry guys, once again I have failed.

I'll catch that and close this one... Having a little difficulty with airport wifi for my iPad.
