Whatever these gigs are I have no interest. Id rather have more for practice never mind gigging.
I'm not even sure I could practice with 112.
That is kind of my point in that thread. There are guys going on about how a 112 is enough for any gig even with out PA support, and they play with a "loud" drummer. I have one of the most capable 12" cabs out there. It isnt going to hang on its own in a really loud band. Two of them is a game changer, and moving to the 215 is really boobies. If those corn holes can get by with a 112 cool beans, I refuse to agree that such a rig is enough for any gig though.
Didn't someone here mention some kind of dampener for their Zoom H2n or something?

Those zooms can take a beating. Give it a try first. Does it not have a meter? You should be able to tell if it's clipping
It should have a gain meter. I haven't messed with it too much. The H2 apparently only has an analog slider on the side for low/med/high gain instead of a digital adjustment like the H2n. I figure if I stick it on a boom stand up in the air where it's not getting any direct frequencies from any speaker cabs it should probably be ok.
Dang I was wrong I guess we are getting some of those nasty wind chills. It is supposed to feel like -7 degrees overnight even in Sunny Old Tidewater Virginny.
Well there is a a bunch of Naval bases and shipyards not to far away from me In Hampton/Norfolk/VA Beach so sure there are lots of Sea Whores turning tricks close by!
