Robert Trujillo has been in Metallica longer than Cliff Burton was.
I'm going to go hang myself now.
He's good I think people just like to hate on his posture and Metallica in general. Particularly around here, I think Jason Newstead is a poster boy for how bass players can get screwed. 
I was a HUGE Metallica fan growing up - Cliff is why I picked up the bass to begin with.
And Trujillo is a fantastic bassist. I just meant it as a statement on time: that Trujillo's been a part of Metallica for something like 10 years now.

too bad the music hes part of is beyond embarrassing and awful now. but hey, id play Hate Train if someone gave me a million dollars too so...
god thats even WORSE than hate train. just when metallica cant get any worse, they release that lou reed garbage.
there seriously cannot be anybody who thinks that trash is good.
I like Metallica, they paved they way for me back in the day, them and KISS. Still my favorite album they did was the garage days E.P. when Jason just joined.

I'm way more ashamed of Lou Reed than Metallica, though.
i love all their stuff up until Load. and even Load/Reload have special places in my middle school heart, even tho the music isnt very good. after reload tho, the wheels fell completely off. St Anger/Death Magnetic are embarrassingly terrible.
youd think at this point they might accidentally write a decent song. they cant do that either.

I have a two fold question: should I buy a sunn Concert Bass? if so, do what cab would you pair it with? Sunn 2x15?
