Almost Human? You mean RoboCop?
Went to Bass Northwest today and jammed on a 71 Ric. Maple glo, walnut headstock wings, checkered binding, toaster pickup, incredible neck. Rather expensive, but awesome![]()
Oh yeah though, Robocop vibe for sure.

Dude, **** that they're making that Robocop remake. It looks like complete ****. Completely abandoning all the things that made the original a perfect movie.

The original is one of my favorite movies. There are plenty of older movies that I love, but are pretty dated. Robocop isn't one of them, it honestly doesn't need to be updated. All they're gonna do is make it look new and shiny, while cutting all its balls off.
In regards to the robocop remake....take in to account I'm pretty drunk, and I'm able to come up with this amount of valid arguments against this **** movie while drunk, imagine the reasons I could make while sober and actually articulate and passionate.
1. He has a human hand. Which is his gun hand. Lame as hell. Seriously, Are we pulling some stealth (staring Jamie fox and Paul walker ****,) where humans are more advanced than machines...it's ******** and we all know it)
2. His family is there. Seems like the remake had a big reliance on his human side. Hella lame.
3. He gets blown up via a car bomb and not annihilated by shooting squad. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
4. Seems like he's not fighting other robots and not drug dealers.
5. Completely lost the satirical sense that the original had.
6. Gary oldman, Michael Keaton, and Sam Jackson are great, but as great as they are, they will appear in anything, literally. Their involvement means nothing to the overall quality of the movies.
7. It's PG-13. The original is R, and if you haven't seen the unrated original cut, well then you haven't really lived. Seriously the unrated cut is one of the most perfect movies that has ever been released.
8. **** the remake, the original was perfect.

So....I think I bought a bass last night. It was all kind of fuzzy.
edit: just checked my email. Yup I bought an faded brown SG. Thank the doom gods for the staff account credit card.
Tidying up a few basslines at the studio. Buffer + JDI sounds great. Once that's done we'll re-amp it all through the GT200 and Richtone.

Does the pitchblack alter the tone, is that why you have the buffer before the DI, or just extra precaution for the recording?
