Yeah, figured this was coming. I'm still happy with NV and 3, and I've got no plans to upgrade to next gen consoles. I'm in line for a promotion/raise this fall, if that works I'll build a gaming pc. If I'm going to invest in a new piece of hardware, I'm damn well going to be modding the sh*t out of all 3 games and playing them forever.

I'm usually at least a year behind on new releases, i like things cheap. I'll read all about it and get excited, but i can wait.

Got the silvertone to work with bass/guitar. Sounds really interesting. Quite lo-fi tubey tone. Reminds me of old recordings of guitar and bass from Europe and Asia.



tones like that. And playing that through the amp sounds cool too.

Moonrise kingdom was eh.. Wes Anderson is good at evoking a particular kind of feeling/style/world but it's not always a very interesting world.

DAMN, that suuucks, Max. Sorry to hear it. I hope we'll still see you at the show. Call the club and tell them that Vega is out but GH can do it. The owner/booker/whoever at the venue will probably be happy with you for saving the opening slot and remember you for future bookings.

Well, it's no PoopTone, but it's a sweet head nonetheless.

Just got done patching together a song from the rcording of our last band practice. Pretty E-wiz sounding, but it'll turn out pretty awesome with some more work. It's nice to have something arranged and put together. We come up with a few riffs that go together, then I can come home and put the pieces together, ready to go for next week. So far so good.

See, you're still optimistic. I'll send the PM and feedback if/when it actually arrives. Also, the ONE thing the guy has done right so far is to double check if the Daddy-O is surface mount or not. He said he checked and it wasn't. That's the first thing I'll check tomorrow, and him getting either a 1 star or 0 star review hinges on my result there. Can't say I'm too optimistic at this point that he actually checked anything. Time will tell, or maybe he'll get lucky and he didn't check, but it's the one I want anyway. We'll find out tomorrow!

To note: sometimes people are lazy and ship from their office mail system. Then it doesn't get picked up for several day even when the shipping request was generated on the day of the sale. Putting shipping dates way later then wanted or expected.
