I love octave pedals but didn't dig the Bit Commander I had at all, one of my fastest flips ever. I guess the idea of it was the terrible tracking to sound like a bit crusher but I thought it sounded awful. But yeah you could probably flip it easy. Lots of octave up choices for you I would think that still do well with bass. MXR Slash Octave, MXR Sub Machine, MXR LA Machine, Octron, etc.
got some kava crack at the vitamin barn. So far so good.
Jan these extracts get great reviews, and they supposedly taste good. I am going to order some for my annual Thanksgiving trip to PA since it is kind of hard to do traditional preparation on vacation.

When they say solvent free, what was the solvent used and removed, or typically used but not used in this case? Water, isopropyl, ethanol?
Pretty sure this guy uses CO2 for a clean extraction like the Kalm with Kava does for his liquid concentrate and kava drinks. Both Paradise and Kalm with Kava are top notch high quality Noble kava vendors.
They brew up strong batches of Noble kava then use CO2 to extract the kavalactones.

Speaking of kava, on my goodness did I get twisted on some excellent Tongan root last night. A vendor I am buddies with wasn't sure if he wanted to add this line to his store yet and wanted a review on the down low. I sure hope he adds it as he will be getting even more of my monthly kava funds lol. I love heady kavas, so euphoric and fun. The Paradise extracts are supposed to nice and heady too. The Tongan was perfect for watching Inherent Vice last night. Fun weird movie.

It's really thick and goopy, not what I was expecting. Had one glass around 2:00 and another in the evening, slept like a rock.
Last trip back home I took kava candy(good stuff) and Kava Kava R Us concentrate with me. The concentrate was super thick and goopy too. I didn't feel good on it, it amped me up instead of calming me down. I kept thinking man I like the medium grind root better than extracts, not using that anymore. Then I just found out the guy was using tudei root instead of noble root to make his concentrate so of course I felt awful on it and had none of the medicinal effects of kava during my whole trip.
This is good stuff for on the go or to keep in the desk at work it is noble.

You would probably get a nice twist on for a while then sleep like a baby and wake up refreshed the next day. Too much may put you too sleep in a half an hour to an hour. No hangovers if you stay away from tudei and only drink noble root, sometimes you feel the effects the next day somewhat. They say you get some nausea if you drink too much but kava kind of self regulates, you know when you have had enough. I saw a funny video of an islander who had to much kava, they sleep for a while then get back up and got about their business.

Dano Pedals Day!

Already have a half-decent bass fuzz. I would like to get an octave pedal and a reverb at some point. I really want a tremelo pedal more for guitar. I used to have this same Dano trem pedal and felt 50/50 about it, but may try to work with it again some.
Anyways, cool haul for free, I say!
Also came with patch cables. Inside the box was also some CD comps my buddy made, a couple cool t-shirts, a big bag of guitar strings and various picks and a Crosley portable turntable.

Nice haul! I've been messing with the trem on my poopy behringer multi fx pedal and digging it for guitar.
I may eventually break down and score another digital multi-fx thing. I've had a few over the years. Yeah, I prefer analog, yadda, but for a guy like me I think most of them are cool...close enough for rock and roll, lots of options in one small space. Only thing I really don't like about them is when you have to get online updates or have to interface with your computer to tweak settings, etc. I never mess with that chit.
I know Behringer stuff gets a bad rap, but I've been pretty surprised with everything I've tried out of theirs. My recording partner in Texas has a couple of their pedals he really digs. I've played through a few of their guitar amps and was fairly impressed (esp. considering the low cost) and I snagged a Behringer BX300 30W bass practice amp a couple month back that I really dig. I mean, it has a lot of features, everything works well, it's not noisy at all, and it's loud enough to piss off the neighbors. Cost me $39 used.
I have also heard they make a DI box that is super cheap and real decent and reliable.

Re-shirts. We payed around 10 bucks a peice for ours, bit more for the 2xls. We just sell them at 15 bucks a peice. They are the American apparel triblend shirts so they are super soft, we haven't any problem selling them at that price. Alot of dudes have had to buy two cus their girlfriend stole one to sleep in.
Had a few Behringers, it's pretty much hit and miss.
Chorus and flanger were bad, Sansamp copy was pretty good.
Used a few of their mixers in practice rooms and they were pretty OK.
On the other hand, my guitarist's friend who owns a recording studio says that Behringer hiss even in the catalogue

Dude, killer graphics on those! I'd love to score one. I hardly ever have spendy cash though, even a spare $15 is hard to wrangle sometimes.
At the beginning of 2010 I was wearing 4X and 5X t-shirts. Now I can get into an XL! I was at Goodwill the other day and they had 99 cent t-shirts. I was thinking "Eh, some of these are cool, but they won't fit me yet."
But I picked up a few XLs thinking after I drop more weight I could wear them, tried them on and boom!

The behringer multi pedal I have is the size of a boss pedal, with six digital effects built in, only one can be used at a time. It stays on my board because the delay works really well as an infinite repeat oscillator/noise generator, I'll occasionaly goof around with the other effects but since I have analog versions of most of them those are what get used in the band.
My Behringer noise gate is quitter than the Boss pedal it is based on that I owned. Maybe I had a Boss noise gate with an issue or maybe it didn't, not sure.
