Yea mine came with three, no option of 4. I was told this meant I could easily retrofit to dually T if I decided to (guess that's not true).

The single chicken head knob on my CL400 is driving my OCD nuts. It's gotta go. Problem is, the OG knobs can't be found easily at all. Peavey doesn't have them and the fact they were only used on the CL400 and the most desirable transtube bandit leads me to believe that finding a single knob in the ether is going to be way more trouble than it's worth.

Any suggestions for a knob to replace the whole set? I'm looking at chrome top Marshall style knobs but that amp face already has a bunch of chrome, about the only thing I don't like about the amp. Another consideration is jazz bass style knobs and Boss style knobs.

I think some black jazz style knobs would look fantastic.

Get the Bandit, swap the knobs, flip the Bandit.

So I have an Eden WTC Metro. It's a 210 combo. It predates their purchase by Marshall, so it's a nice handmade-in-the-USA piece of concrete. It's listed as 240 watts @8ohms (that's just with the internal 10s) 450 @4ohms, and 600 @2ohms. I'd like to get a pair of 8ohm 210s. This (I believe) creates a 2.67ohm load thru 6 10s.

What 210s should I be looking for? I had a 4ohm Peavey that made it pretty darn loud.

Budget is kind of an issue; buying used is not. Should I try to find a pair of Peaveys??? Or am I overlooking something???

I'll take the Bandit when you're done! There are two local, one each at the local GCs. One is the newest version for $120 (Crestwood) and the other is an older version (not sure which) for $160 (Bridgeton). Always wanted a Bandit. I have the HM-2, with a Bandit I could do perfect Swedish Death Metal Chainsaw Tones! (Which are clearly the best tones.)

By the way, what version is the "best" Bandit, and how would I tell it apart?

Apparently the black box bandit, all black with a silver stripe, is the most desired. It was the first bandit with transtube, and the only specific model that shared knobs with the CL400. So not just any bandit would get my mission accomplished. Come to think of it, I think my friend has a silver stripe bandit 112. I'll have to hit him up.

I'm open to other suggestions though, so long as we don't have to get into the black hole science of bass cabinetry (but FWIW its an old 70's ported Sunn 2x15)

I got mine for, let's say 100 bucks (~85 € shipped). Cool stuff! loud (I was surprised, really!) and dirty as f**k, made my jack casady Feedback hard. I played it in rehearsal yesterday for like.... 3 hours or so? the pots are a bit scratchy but Overall those things are heavily underrated. and if one blows up... yeah well just put 3 spare ones in the shelf....

I know it's a lot of chrome, but these are still my favorite knobs: Vintage Set Silver Sound City Laney Carlsbro Simms Watts Number Amplifier Knobs
