i think that was the first run and there is a second in progress. you get your choice of 2 clipping options + no diodes and the added mid control. the mid control does make it a bit darker sounding but there is a mod that you can choose to keep it closer to the original sound however the mid control becomes more subtle i think.
can't get my L2000 single coil mod wired for 2 weeks and nikon still refuses to announce what full frame camera they will be releasing next, haven't bought the new moog mini delay, because i actually want to try it with the modded L2k to make sure it's gonna do what i want it to do
Yes its VT125B number 15. It has an internal mid pot and a sub pot as well. I was able to dial in a pretty close sound to the original volt thrower I have, but add a little more mid which allowed me to run a little more fat clean tone for our clean sections then kick on the vt and be back to my snarling mid overdrive i like so much.

Pretty psyched about playing this show tomorrow 
Used the black eagle yesterday at practice... First impressions are positive from all in the room. I'm digging the jazz neck. Will use it a couple more times and see how it goes. Need to add a volume pedal to the board because the VVT config is a pain in the ass. Tuner mute just not quiet enough with dirt after. Whatever it is with TC mini tuner it makes a racket if there is dirt pedal engaged after it.

I've read its a total different beast with 500k pots instead of 250's.

So far i like it. Not sure what that to compare it to. It is solid state and sounds it.
It's ok - bought it so I would have to lug my svt back and forth from the jam space.
I run it flat with no bass boost. Surprisingly loud for a little thing.
Nice to hear, I was curious about that as well. Never knew they made em, but I love their tube bass amps.
