I agree that these look sick. Anybody have experience with these? I'm particularly interested in how the strap deals with the lip down by the bridge. It looks like it would get caught quite often
Yes. RGB series I think they are called. They have 4 string and 5 string
Thoughts on the Iceman?
Fellow TB-ers are experiencing neck dive issues, apparently. Ergonomics aside, the reviews are mixed (but aren't they always?). Some report that the Iceman is a very playable axe; others lament the build quality and lack of tonal options.

I'd say that the quality from that era, for Ibanez, is beyond dispute.
I love my 1986 RB850!
And I love my 1985 ATK300 (also made in Japan), too! It's also more 'stoner/doom', somehow.

Any of you folks have a MIM p-bass with rosewood fretboard? Can you take some measurements? (i.e. with calipers)
I'm not much of an Ibanez fan, but man, that thing is pretty!
Incidentally, I see you're in Leiderdorp. I actually went to school there.
There's another one called something like "Dad Has 100 Pedals" or whatnot. I feel my child needs that one.
Got my bass back today after a month in the shop. All fixed up, but they didn't put all the screws in the cavity cover back on so I had to go back and have them put them back in... Annoying, but it's all fixed and my baby is back. While I was waiting, I played an Ibanez fretless - SR375. Amazing. May have to snatch it up. Just sold a bass for the exact price they're asking...
One of our members in The Netherlands, @Basvarken builds Gibson-inspired basses. I'm sure he can build you a Flying V5.

I recently plugged an arkham zephyr into my trace elliot v4 and berg 4x12/2x15 stack and it was pretty damn phenomenal. I've been looking to make the v4 more baxandall-ish and that seems to do the trick. My matamp has been on the frtiz so it was a bit of a relief. When I get it back I want to try the zephyr into the matamp but ultimately keep that at home and the v4 at practice.

Dankjewel! It's my first bass, so very special only for that reason. It was a bit difficult to set up, and the neck is a little on the wide side for me. And it is heavy. But when I play it, it has this 'fart' that none of my other basses can produce. Keeper.

I love the look of this bass as well! Looks like a T-40 and a sandberg jazz bass had a baby! I'd never heard of these before either. I already feel the GAS coming on!
In bass news, all I have is that I got some chromes and put them on my short scale homebrew. (That I bought pre-brewed.)
