I should have added you on that too haha! The amount I've learned about HM-2s is almost solely due to you lol.
Yeah same here, I think that and a Zoia are about the last for me for a while. Hopefully, but doubtful. I think outside of unique small runs, I'm fairly done for a bit as a whole.
@ConfoundedBridg something like this fit the size you had/need?

The back story, Jay is a guy I knew as a youth and all through high school. Someone turned me on to the fact he did concert pics of a metric ton of hardcore and punk shows in Columbus, OH and various other cities. My brother went thirdsies on a Gretsch bari with a couple friends. IIRC, it’s got a bigsby and the p’ups have been swapped. It’s been a couple years, but seemed nice enough.
I got a Jerry Jones Neptune I bought a million years ago. It's wonderful through an old tube amp.
That looks awesome. Ugh now I have GAS! Damn you! Haha!

p.s. re: baritones, there's a band called Viva Death that uses them (at least their first record), might be worth a listen.

I have that gretsch strung as a bass VI. I really like the idea of it, being able to play bass and chords, but I am ashamed to say I haven't picked it up in some time.
Yes, immense amount of volume and gain on tap! Effing great sound and good articulation.
Do it dude! I'm a sucker for walnut finishes! I've played around on one of the other finishes at motor city music years back. Can't remember if it was the VI or baritone, but was solid. I dig the DeArmond pickups in this one, I think the older ones had filtertrons.
The Hizumitas is so aggressive. That video did nothing for me! Of course, I say that about a wide swath of fuzz pedals, so what do I know? If it speaks to you, get it! Lord knows I've got my fair share of odd or niche boxes, and am always looking for more. If I ever see an Atreides pop up cheap...
Anybody have thoughts on the Bass Tight Fuzz? I love me some Amptweaker stuff, but never had one of his bass pedals. Sounds promising, though all the clips I hear are either low gain vintage type stuff or high gain bright tones. Anything that's suitably doomy with nice low end and some dirty top end in that box?

Much as I like the SG, I've already had an EB-0 and wanted to try something different. Signature instruments are kind of weird to me but this one ticked all the boxes. Now we know what happens when an SG and a PBass have a baby.

Really digging my Iron Pig lately. Been snowed in the last two days, so I've been tweaking. Got a nice heavy tone now (as well as my "lighter" one from the other day) and am preferring it to my HM-2s. Definitely gonna have to pick up more Rats now!
