Depending on what is in there, you may be able to get it fixed for really cheap.
Dont get me wrong, I love heavy music....

REALLY debating trying to off my 810e at low ball pricing to fund this. I have never played through one but I can't imagine it being anything less than awesome. It would probably stack nicely sideways on top of my 215b. Yay or nay?
Advantages: I think I could fit this into my car; in which I absolutely cannot fit the 810. With that in mind, it may also do a better job than the 215b for single cab gigs. I have to push my 4 pro to the point of the limiter light flashing with just the 215 at show volume. It may stack a little better with the 215 for 'somewhat' reduced stage footprint with mas speakers.
Disadvantages: I have an 810 and should be happy with it. I don't think it will be that much weight reduction from the 810 and still much heavier than the 215b. I feel like resale for these kind of sucks. I am only considering because I have been watching it for a while. It was originally posted for $650 I believe. I can only swing it if the 810 sells.
Opinions? Does anyone know anything about these cabs? There really isn't that much out there. I think its the diesel series/era with EVs but I am not certain.

That is the worst cab Mesa ever made.

I haven't used one, but I briefly messed around with the newer version here at work. Sounded good to me. That appears to be a pretty good price for one.

I think at the next show I am going to try and run the 215b with my drummers two Acoustic 115 cabs. I imagine they will sound like poo and could in fact blow from one side of the 4 pro, but I need the 415 in my life.
Mesa just makes way better cabs than those mixed driver cabs. Their 610, 810, 412, and 215 are much better.
If the drivers are sound in that 810, then it may be worth checking out. If you cant transport the 810e, not sure it is going to be better though.

I am just not totally sold on sealed cabs. I guess I just need more loud time with it. Sucks to live on the 2nd floor. When I play my 2000s, it can only be played with the volume exactly at that point where sound comes through the speakers. Anything more and it is way to loud.
There are plenty of kicking cabs that aren't sealed, it's just that that mesa isn't one of them.

Yeah the old "powerhouse" cabs (before they named a line powerhouse) sucked. Those cans were quiet for having so many speakers In it.
There's a band in town called Johnny's big red rocket I've seen at a couple house shows, and their bass player uses one. The guys tone is weird IMO but he can be heard over like 8 people playing at once. Pretty sure he's rocking a massive mid scoop with an active bass. Was a very big heavy cab that's for sure.
Keep what you got then, and when you can afford the 50% deposit on a dually go for it. Then when you get close to time to pay it off, sell one of your cabs towards that. Then rinse and repeat.
