I remember Laz had it at one point, but that has been a few years I think...Anyone have the S/D band list? I know I have seen it posted a time or two.

I wish I could consolidate all my work to one job. The OT would be SWEET.
Also, the Carvin showed up on Saturday and I jammed it with the band on Sunday. I'm ****ing blown away by this thing. I'm not sure if it's a really great amp or just exactly what I needed for my current set up but my tone is singing now.

Yeah I think I ended up with the drive around 85% max. Doesn't seem to add "grit" but it seems to make the notes articulate a bit more and there's more thickness to the tone. This is why I laugh when people give me the old, "You recommend that gear in ever situation..." bullsh!t. I recommend it because it is good, really good. And you can use it in a lot of situations, because it is so good.
Have you played with letting the drive knob go past noon? Shouldnt give you any dirt, but makes things a little "warm".
you guys sound like a blues lawyer forum. "grit, warmth, thickness" ***!!!!![]()
sorry i don't do solid stateHave you ever played an amp, and just thought, "Man this is fine, but it is bland/cold/sterile." The drive knob is the anti that. But it does it without dumping a ton of distortion on your signal.

i'd play full SS before any hybrid. most hybrids are gimmicks, the tube doesn't add anything and is never run with the required voltages. There are exceptions of course but in general i have preferred SS over hybrid every single time.Hybrid?
