Stranded Bass (sad content)

So in a few months I'm traveling to Germany for 5 months and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to bring my Warwick Corvette Standard Bubinga.

Because of its natural oil finish that is exposed to the outside world, it strongly recommended that the bass is waxed with beeswax every 1-2 weeks. So far I've been good at keeping up with that.

What do I do when my bass has to say home? Is there any form of humidity control I can do for it to make sure she stays safe? I have some non-musician friends who might be able to watch it for me but I doubt they would commit to taking off strings, waxing, then replacing them. It's a labor of love...

Any suggestions (and no, you can't have my bass :ninja:)

I feel I am going to be quite occupied with a new country for a while. However, the first night I have nothing to do I am going to flip a lid with no bass. Ironically, I am going to go visit the Warwick factory sometime.

I like the humidifier idea. thanks
