Strange "chorus sound" from my Duck Dunn

Can the pole pieces be pushed up on the A & D strings so I can then lower the pup to avoid the problem on the G ? Remember this is a vintage instrument and I don't want to damage anything..

Lots of people set the string height slightly lower on the G and a tiny fraction higher on each string working back to the E.

Do you mean slant the pickups lower on the G string side and higher on the E ?

Does the magnet have more pull over the thinner G string than the others ?
