Strap advice

Looking for advice regarding the following straps for a short person (5' 3") using a short scale bass (Squier VM Mustang SS). Extra points if it helps with neck dive. Thanks.

Ergo-strap 3 or 4"
Levy (which?)
Italia 4"
Righton smooth 3.5"
Lakota Leathers 3"
LM Slider ergonomic
Richter Hydra (two shoulder)
D'Addario Joe Satriani

I have this strap, it's 20+ years old and looks new. I use it for everything from electric guitar to AEB. I don't play bases over 9 lbs. and am very happy with it. The one thing I don't use it for is my U-Bass, but probably could...

Levi MSS2-4. I think I have a half dozen of those. Great straps for all sorts of basses, although I got an extension for my TBird.

Edited to add: mine appear to be 3.5” wide, so maybe not the exact model I listed.

 sure!

i'm not familiar with all of the straps you list. i do have a 3" lokota strap, however, and i'd recommend it as being 'probably helpful' with the dive thing (i don't have any "neck dive" currently). also: it's a very soft, supple leather that just feels nice to use.

good luck with your strap choice(s)!

I use a Planet Waves locking strap on all my instruments. Great straps, never had an issue or had one come loose. Once I discovered this strap all my others were retired. Had a leather strap break on me once at rehearsal, at the horn pin...the darn thing just separated and my guitar crashed to the floor. After that I went textile.
I use Black
