Stray followed me home Saturday night...

Just one question: Is this the Deluxe Dimension or the American Deluxe Dimension?
I just might go to GC Friday and check them out (the natural one is really nice) also, I've read that this bass sounds great and the neck has a satin finish.
Not to mention, I was told GC is giving customers two months to pay for layaway...though I hope to bring one home before that if I really like it.

This is the deluxe dimension. My guitarist who is anti MIM basses even was impressed. THAT says a lot.

Well, I went to my local GC but they only had the Modern Player Dimension which I tried out (played "Blue Turk" by Alice Cooper...gotta love Dennis Dunaway and I thought they didn't hear that one too often) and I really liked the bass. Sounded good and easily louder than another active bass I tried, and I liked the candy apple red, but just not as much as the natural finish.
They should be getting the Deluxe Dimension in soon, though.
One weird thing...the American Deluxe has the scarfed neck joint and the easy-access wheeled truss rod and so does the Modern Player. I wonder why the Deluxe Dimension doesn't.
