from the keep roundwounds clean and fresh thread:
https://www.talkbass.com/threads/keeping-roundwounds-clean-and-fresh.1376005/add-reply.
thought i better make a own thread on this one. To keep the above topic streamlined

A two minute ultrasonic bath with distilled water. Strings are fresh as new.

i like this idea !........i´m in to give it a try.

what do you folks think, which dimensions has the inner tank to have ?
150 x 85mm seems not enough, no ? *1
that one would slip under my customs

150 x 130mm seems better. I´d guess i´d be good with that size, yes ?
This one has also a heating function, 65°. *2

150 x 130mm with a round basket. *3
These both would not slip under the custom threshold, which would add a shitload of additional taxes,....ohh well. But if it works, and the product would not be plain crap.........

ohh, 150 x 140mm. Heating up to 80°. I like this one. edit: the 1.3L unit has no basket ! *4
