They aren't weed whackers I actually just received word via email from the company. And I figured I'd get another set because I still have two string that are fine and this is my first bass so I would like spares if possible. Also I'm kinda poorLooks like some kind of multi-colored weed-wackers or the like.
I'd get a whole set of new strings if it was me.
they couldn't tell me. The bass is from Europe so I'm thinking maybe that's where the strings originated. I've contacted the actual company kk baby bass and I'm waiting to hear back.Ok, and what did they say it was?

Trying to stay within a string ID thread instead of starting yet another...
I'm pretty much a newbie at string IDs, does anyone recognize these strings? (Sorry if this is mundane.) I played pizz/slap on this old bass this afternoon, didn't really like the feel of the strings but they and the bass really sounded good.
