Considering I generally prefer a tactile approach, most digi pedals with presets and banks usually have me selling them, Strymon is a rare exception!
I use a Mobius myself, linked up to an expression pedal. Helluva pedal, and has killed off my gas for modulation pedals in a pretty small space of time.
....But that's been replaced by analog delay pedal gas, which is much much worse! drool
I mainly use the Phaser, Rotary & Vibe among a few others, mostly set thick and chewy.
I like how fat I can make the Phaser sound, it's the sound I've been chasing for years out of a phaser, and funnily enough, with a bit of tweaking it wasn't all that far away from one of the presets built in (bank 6 or 7 from memory). Many of the presets are quite good.
I use the Exp mainly for speed alone,
(LOVE how you can set the floor and ceiling for the exp pedal for each effect!) but I don't actually use the Exp for the Rotary speed as I prefer the ramp button instead for that effect > Love how you can enable/disable the Exp pedal for each preset.
So much to like about this pedal.
I'm not after a number, but I have a few questions. To you guys using the Bigsky here on TB;
Are you also guitar players? If not, how are you using it?
I ask as I play a heap of guitar myself too, but reverb just isn't an effect I have much use for on bass.
I like the Swell, but so far I haven't played with it much past the presets.
I'm thinking of using the Exp like a volume pedal, have any of you worked out how to do it?
Lastly;
Have you guys with a Timeline tried using it for modulation effects ONLY?
Wonderiing out loud, if it's possible to get many of the modulation effects available on the Mobius, simply by turning the mix to 100% wet and turning the repeat time down to nothing/realtime, thereby acting just like a Mobius?
Obviously this might not be what the Timline was purposed for, and it would involve a heap of tweaking, but I'm curious....
My board has changed a little since this phote (+Timmy -Oxide);
