What passes for comedy these days.

I saw the new Seth Rogen movie "Observe And Report" with my sons this weekend. Yeesh, what a sorry excuse for a funny movie. It's loaded with hyper-violence, f-bombs, gross/disgusting scenes, and spraying blood. My sons thought it was great. I want my $10 back.

Seth Rogen is going on my "Ignore" list, along with Dane Cook, Katt Williams, Lisa Lampanelli, Will Ferrel, Carrot Top and a few other so-called "comedians".

Give me the Marx Brothers any day. Or Sam Kinison. At least he had some wit to go with the bad language.

I won't even do the "LOL" thing.

One thing that I really don't like is the IM shorthand. My son used to use it in text messages and emails until I finally told him that if he wanted to type like a ******** moron (sorry for being so un-PC) then he'd better find someone else to send messages to because I wasn't going to read them "nemore".

He suddenly learned how to speak English again.
