Hi. I have a Sterling SUB Ray35 and the truss rod wheel is maxed out. I don't want to strip or break it. I just need to take a little more relief out of the neck. Can I remove the neck, back the wheel off and install a washer to shim it out a little?? Has this been done?? Thanks.
