Such A Conflict Of Terms ----

I read another one of these posts here that say something like this: (not a direct quote)

"I wanted to keep that P-Bass sound so I put a Gotoh/BAII high-mass bridge on it ---and --- and ---"

I see an oxymoron there:::

P-Bass tone + A high mass bridge.​

Please tell me how that works?

Because a P-bass sounds the way it does by the way it's built and accessorized from the factory. Even Leo Fender knew better.

It didn't have a note-sucking heavy mass bridge on it from birth and that's the moron in the oxymoron.

Ear of the beholder, yadda yadda.

In my humble opinion, the difference in tone between a "high mass" bridge and a standard bridge is sometimes noticeable and nearly always negligible.

I agree with Bass-Adrenaline. This strikes me as a stupid thread that will only serve to bring out the trolls.
