Suggestion for Bass reverb

+1 for the Iron Ether Nimbus.
It's dedicated for bass. Can go from subtle to huge stormy like. And stacks very well with other modulation effects.

Easy to dial with newly 5 knobs (room size, clean volume, reverb volume, bass, treble). The first version have Filter instead of bass and treble.

I have the first version and very pleased with it.

I give another vote for the source audio dimension reverb... Tons of types of verbs, echos, etc. no low end loss... Plus, with the SA expression pedal assigned to reverb send you can let ambient verb ring out and play over it. There is a good demo of this Nd more on YouTube, search "source audio reverb bass"

The TC Electronic Trinity 2 is still available used for around $100 and cooler than the regular Hall of Fame reverb in my opinion. It has some very spacious and soft reverbs for ambient stuff, it's got a nice slap back type reverb I use on bass a lot, and there are several "weird" reverbs on it too that feature some modulation. It's my only verb pedal and for what its worth I considered more than a dozen models under $200 before buying. The Supermoon sounded awesome but not as tweakable. The Afterneath sounds very interesting but offers more weirdness than I was looking for.

I'm not sure about TC electronics stuff. I have had more than my share of bad experience with them.

I currently have an EHX holy grail and maybe its just me, but I'm pretty sure it cut some low-end.

How about Mooer and Joyo reverb pedals? Like I said, i'm looking at budget option. The Iron Nimbus looks pretty amazing, but its way out of my price range right now...

Another vote for the TC Hall of Fame. I've tried several other reverb pedals and regardless of price, this thing is awesome. The number and types of reverb, ability to dial in the amount of wet signal, decay and tone, the ability to make custom tone prints and overall tone quality are hard to beat. Just my $.02.

The HOF verb is pretty versatile; however for more ambient sounds, I think the T2 (Trinity 2) would offer a lot more while still being able to utilize toneprints and do a lot of the basic verb that the HOF can do. I'm biased because I love mine, no doubt. Reverb setting 3 is nice and fat on my bass live (low mix), and setting 4 and Etheral 1 setting are both big and spacious on my electric guitar. A few settings are too modulated for my taste but still a lot of usuable variety in the T2.
