Aged control plate with knobs. Don’t know yet if I will use the Gotoh relic or the cosmo black knobs, we’ll see at final assembly which ones fit best !

Another step done : removing 3/16" of material at the armrest location, by hand with a very interesting tool I just discovered : a Japanese wood rasp. Works really great !
Also sanded the top surface with 80 grit sand paper to get a rough surface for the glue to stick to. Center line also added for future assembly.
And used my Dremel to make larger routes for the wires, in case some glue would get in the way while putting the top layer of wood.

And will have to add a support for the Telecaster control plate :
Fit of the graphic : not too bad and luckily, my center line fits with the joint of the main top panels !
Are you going to cut some finger joints to bring in other pieces on the ends?
