Summer Build Off 2024 - Get Ready!

@Barticus I'm glad Smails and I are synonymous now
And also being not that far from you and briefly in the shop today, I feel your pain.
(or... sweat, I suppose. Which isn't really pain unless it drips in your eyes or something.)
We should plan "shop tour" road-trips to visit each other during this BO… there's a mini fridge in mine that would yield cold, refreshing beverages for us on a day like this :woot:

Question: If I'm starting 3 different builds (with the economics of "driving back and forth to my local makerspace" this makes sense), should I do a separate thread for each? Obviously each one I finish will get a separate entry post.
As per past precedent, you can put them all in one thread, but then you can only submit one of them for voting. If you make three threads, it makes our build list longer and you get three chances to win! :D

My suggestion would be to start your own Shop Projects thread, where you show the gradual progress on all of your projects that you are working on. Include your work on the SBO entries, and other smaller bass-related jobs that show up. Keep the thread going long term as, hopefully, your projects are completed and new ones start.

I may be a bit late to this party. I'm still building my new workshop.
