Sunmachine Walkure Fuzz

Yeah this came at the worse time for me. Wrapping this semester up, Band had a lot going on... I need to get some demoing capabilities set-up. Prettty much need to clean my spare room up and hook a few things up and I could be demoing...so lame of me.
I liked both the Walkure and the Box of War. The Walkure is a bit more tweakable for sure, The Box of War stacked well with OD (just how I like my Muffs, Stacked). They can both bring some heavy for sure.

hurm. didna really dig the little guy, one knob buggers always frustrate me. but the Walkure's definitely got some stuff in there. the mids and tone options add a lot, and the clipping switches are pretty useful.

thanksies!

urm.... all the Muff's i've played except the PPB i like the big creamy lushness they can get, but i'm usuall into the more fizzy sound that usually has a blend with it. so, the Walkure is GOOD. but i actually dug on the Box o' War a little more. with the tone all the almost all the way up it's a bit more how i usually use fuzzes.

Is it just me, or the blend doesn't sound like a clean blend? I've been looking at different videos, and I can never tell when is the clean signal supposed to be there.

Does anybody know exactly what kind of clipping is on each position of the switches?

There is no true clean blend on Walkure.

I'll find out what the switches do exactly.

Just wanted to post up some info I got. Chris is an awesome dude! I may hit him up for some more pedals soon. Great stuff! Warwick is next!!!!!

"Hey Adam,

I hope you are still satisfied with both Walküre and Reptile. Just recognized that some questions concerning walküre popped up on talkbass forums. The toggles switch between diodes and no diodes in both gain stages. No diodes opens the sound, more headroom, less distortion, more volume ... nice overdrive,

The blend knob is no clean blend, it changes the amount off bass let through the circuit/signal.
Hope this helps.
Bestest for you
Chris"

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh...
ok, that makes sense. Now I understand what I was hearing on the videos.
Thanks a lot for the information.
