Sunn Beta Bass Pre in a Pedal?

Well I found it with the Dunwich version, which I actually got long before the circuit gained the traction it has now, but I still love to keep track of the different companies making them, for some reason this particular distortion and overdrive sound is the Bee's Knees to me, so I promote ALL makers!
I wasn't aware that DA made a Sunn pre. He makes a GT120 pre. Was it custom?

The Sunn Bather is made by the builder reverse engineering a Sunn Beta head, so it should be very close. He bought a head for this purpose. I don't know if I'm a Sunn guy, but it sounds interesting.

Dunwich had a design that he had Magic assemble for me. The original was a request from a guy in a band, one half was Sunn Beta, the other was a Fuzz Face or similar type fuzz. I went with the Beta only, so it's essentially a Sunn Beta stompbox for getting drive tones. I think there are pictures earlier in this thread, but the point is: it's awesome, and the EQ is changed to be like an Ampeg. I haven't been a fan of the EQ on the normal Sunn Beta Bass, the treble is a shelf control, and I always found it too bright for the sounds I was after.
