Hey guys. I mentioned in an earlier thread that a guy I knew wanted to sell me his SUNN Concert lead head. Just now, I also have an offer to buy a Beta Lead from some guy in the city. I know most of you will say, "Uhhh! Thats not a bass amp! No headroom! Why don't you get a SVT-VR like everyone else!?". To them, I say "nah". I have a more practical amp as well, but I'd like a backup/fun solid state as well. By the way, the Concert Lead is a late 70s model with red knobs. I don't know a ton but from what I can grasp is that the Concert is higher wattage with less built in distortion, the Beta is less wattage with more distortion. Neither are a combo I'll add. I'd like if someone could direct me to a page with the specs for these amps. Anyways, I'd just like to hear what you guys think would be the better amp for foolin' around and jammin' some doomy stoner metal with. Most likely will play it through a Mesa Diesel 2x15 but would maybe get an old 4x10 or something if needed.
