Does anyone know where I could find a transcription of "Sunshower." It's not in any of the "Real" books, legal or not.

Kenny Barron wrote one called "Sunshower", as did Dave Valentin, I think. Dunno about getting transcriptions, though. I'll look through my stuff, I have way too much old sheet music!
I think it's Kenny Barron, because he is the pianist on Ron Carter's "Piccolo" (great cd) where I know the song from.
I found one in a black market fake book. Credited to Sonny Greenwich. It's a waltz. The one I'm familiar with is a latinish thing in A minor, I'm told by Kenny Barron, written for and originally recorded by Sonny Fortune. Is this the one you're asking about?
Most compositions are registered with ASCAP or BMI as a means of protecting and collecting royalties. You can search those sights for publisher name and address.
