I love that bass JIO, but I really wish the inlay on the first fret was the same as the rest of the inlays.
How does it sound?
Love it! One minor thing I would change for the next one is the decal placement so the strings don't obstruct the branding.
My Maple 'board reservations aside, that looks f***ing awesome.
I truly love the look of that body shape, would have to pick it up and play it if I had the chance.
Well, for what it's worth, I love maple necks. The only bass I own that doesn't have one is my 4003. I'm looking forward to seeing a 5 string Supernova![]()
(takin' the T2K Mk II)Spent some time today addressing assembly. As with any custom one-off, solving one issue then leads to the next until it's finally done (i.e., no more issues). I've learned that patience is more than a virtue - it's a needed state of mind for doing the things that need ultimate focus and considered approach. In one way time was consumed w/little to show - in another, a few issues were dealt with successfully on the road to completion and ultimately satisfaction.
Assembly session II tomorrow - tonight, a jam session lasting into tomorrow w/my favorite musician friends. yay!(takin' the T2K Mk II)
Geo, have you considered making an electric guitar version of the supernova, I bet that would fly off the shelves so to speak and broaden your market.
