Sustainiest Compressor

I like that I can get infinite sustain from a Superego but I'm looking for something that isn't so much of an effect, you know? I'd like something that'll just help me hold out a note longer. So I guess a compressor?

Which compressors should I be looking at?

CS-3 is what i have for sustaining/compressor.. and it will last minutes literally.

That'd be my first recommendation too.

Yep, the Philosopher has all the sustain power of the Boss CS2/CS3, but with better low end and lower noise.

Thanks for the replies. Now I see that Pigtronix also has the Philosopher Bass Compressor. I prefer that layout. I guess I should look around to see whether people prefer the original vs the bass model.
