svt-3 with ampeg or eden...?

yeah, i want to go all eden too, but its if my wallet will let me. what i want to try to get my parents to do is let me buy the amp when i'm in seattle, and have them ship the cab, that way i get to pay the price that bass NW charges, and not GC. but i got about $500 more to save if i got with eden, and to me $500 will take about 3 months.

Used gear is the answer, Muttluk. Both my WT-300 and my D-210T were purchased used; I'm debating whether to get a D-115XLT or another D-210T to get full output from my head while still maintaining portability.

Did I mention that I LOVE EDEN AMPS? I have never heard a warmer bass sound, and my pickups have absolutely no low midrange. If I pluck over the "sweet spot" and put my pickup selector at 25/75 neck/middle, I get a tone that is incredibly buttery, yet articulate. (Cranking the tweeter helps.) What's more, I'm running the amp FLAT--no enhance, no adjustments to the EQ, gain at about 2:00 (weak pickups). A little cut of the bass shelving and a bit of low-mid boost (not too much, though), and I get a sound so percussive that I don't feel the need to slap. Needless to say, I can't wait until I get my fusion band up and running--and I've got plenty of time this weekend...

I encourage anyone who wants to take their tone to the next level to get an Eden amp. This may well be the best bass-related purchase I've ever made.
