SVT 4Pro + Multiple Cabinets

Hi,

I have a general question regarding this amp and multiple cabinets.

I am running a SVT 4Pro, SVT 410 HEN and SVT 15E

I have an opportunity to buy locally, a SVT 410HLF and another SVT 15E for a decent price.(Both are SLM)

Now what I would like to ideally do is keep 2 of the cabinets, probally the 410 HLF and either the 410 HEN or 1 of the 15Es and sell the other cab to recoup some cash.

Now, can I run the 410 hlf (4ohms) with either the 410hen or 15E(both 8 ohms) safely?

I am pretty sure this will give a load of 2.67 ohms?

Also, could I run all 4 cabinets for poops and giggles without melting the SVT 4Pro?

What would be the best way to wire this mess?

Thanks! :bassist:

The best thing to do is put the 4PRO in stereo and drive the SVT-410HLF from one channel. It has just the right amount of power to do this.

On the other channel stack up the two SVT15e's you will make awsome noise.

All four will not play well.

Update,

I called Ampeg today and the tech confirmed that the 4pro can run a minimum of 2 ohms per side.(he also pointed out that it states that on the back of the amp)

So I went out and picked up the used 410hlf and 15E for $600 CAD
The 15E is like brand new, the 410 has some minor tolex rips
Both cabs are SLM.

So until I decide which cabs I want to run here is the setup.
