SVT 7 Pro Revision D

Likely some revisions have been quietly made to the Streamliner and the Tone Hammer.

I'm fairly certain that GB has said that current Streamliner is exactly the same as the first one that shipped out. They do seem to have some issues here and there (like the LED's burning out) but not nearly as many complaints as the 7 Pro and PF stuff.

I'm sure someone will chime in to say that Ampeg sells many more heads, so it's probably somewhat comparable as far as sample size goes. I'm not sure on that, but I know I'd have an uneasy feeling bringing one to a gig and relying on it.

I want to like the 7 Pro, badly! I've came close to buying one a few times.

As I have received a few questions recently about what revision we are on, no doubt because of this thread, please let me clarify to all of you as a group rather than individual PM's/e-mails...

Correct, there are no revisions to any of the Streamliners, or the Shuttles/ShuttleMax's (other than introducing the new models with 3DPM). All are the same as first introduced (ie. no revisions).

Regarding the LEDs on the Streamliner, yes, we have had a few defective LED parts and we will replace them under warranty, no worries. The LEDs do not affect either the operation or the performance of the amp under any circumstances, they are purely cosmetic.

Hope this helps
