well, they do have bias ('idiot lights') on the back, so as a long as they were glowing green at idle, it should have been biased properly. that doesn't necessarily mean that they were great sounding tubes or completely up to snuff, but at least they would be within bias spec.

I know, bad attitude..... I could have believed it of Jamie*, the new CEO seems to be more reasonable.

I bet the rental has crummy tubes.....

right...it's the vtd, not the 69 blue line

i'll tell you though...that vtd was a lifesaver this past week. the vegas gig was the only one out of 6 that had an actual svt.
